Ben grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended college at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Upon graduation, Ben worked in corporate finance for Bank of America Securities in their Retail Group focusing on mergers and acquisitions, high yield financings and equity offerings. After leaving Bank of America Securities, Ben accepted a position as Legislative Aide for Congressman Duncan Hunter on Capitol Hill. Ben then matriculated to the University of San Francisco School of Law where he a member of Moot Court Honors Program and received the Edward J. McFetridge Award and Scholarship for outstanding performance in oral advocacy.
After law school, Ben accepted an offer to work for Touchstone, Bernays, Johnston, Beall, Smith & Stollenwerck in their Dallas office. In 2006, Ben joined a group of Touchstone lawyers in forming Walters, Balido & Crain.
Ben is married to Allison and they currently reside in Dallas with their two children.
