Perry & Murphy is willing and encourages alternative billing arrangements with its clients.  The following are examples of different types of billing arrangements:

Hourly Billing:  Perry & Murphy provides legal services based on hourly rates charged by its attorneys.

Flat Fee:  For particular matters or projects, Perry & Murphy is willing to charge a flat fee for its services.

Contingency Fee:  In litigation matters where a plaintiff expects a significant award, Perry & Murphy is willing to provide legal services for a percentage of the eventual award or settlement.  If the litigation is unsuccessful, however, the client is not obligated to pay Perry & Murphy for services rendered.

Hybrid Model:  Perry & Murphy is also willing to take plaintiff cases on at a reduced rate while still also receiving a contingent percentage of the recovery.  Expenses and costs can also be negotiated.

Incentive Model:  With this model, Perry & Murphy will estimate a litigation budget based on its attorneys’ hourly rates and estimated expenses.  The firm then takes the budget and breaks it down into monthly payments over the perceived life of the lawsuit.  The client, however, does not pay the entire amount but instead an agreed percentage each month and the rest of the money is withheld.  The distribution of the withheld money is based on objective benchmarks of success agreed to by the client and Perry & Murphy.

Other Arrangements:  Aside from the fee models listed on this page, Perry & Murphy is always willing to discuss any type of alternative billing arrangement with its prospective clients.
